I love the challenges of small spaces! Here’s a small new build apartment which floorplan has to be slightly modified to gain in space, practicality and light. 

The pantry has been removed to make a U shape kitchen and to give the opportunity of having a sliding door in the toilet. 

Same thing in the largest bedroom, the built-in closet has disappeared in order to enlarge the bathroom a little bit and above all to open it up to the bedroom thanks to a half-open glass wall which allows ventilation and natural light to come in. For more privacy a curtain could still be added if needed.

We also favor white and neutral colors, so we opt for a white lacquered kitchen that will reflect the natural light coming from the large bay window. Let’s not forget to add a few mirrors strategically placed here and there to also gain in brightness, and to nibble a little more space in the corridor we choose the option of sliding doors wherever possible.
